sorry to be the bearer of bad news but my grandad passed away in the early hours he was admitted yesterday but seemed to be getting better but in the night he suffered a cardiac arrest it all happened so quickly so we are all in a state of shock

hi guys i have managed i think to get hold of most of you on facebook but i have had to cancel my birthday celebrations tonight at the keller i have just found out that my grandad has to go into hospital they think his pneumonia has come back not sure how serious it is but i dont really feel like going out as i am sure you can understand hopefully i will see you all soon take care love jo xx

hi guys: i know there a a few weeks to go yet but i just wanna invite my friends to help me celebrate my 30th birthday! my birthday is on the 19th of may but i am gonna go to the keller on friday the 16th of may! if anyone is interested let me know we should probably be meeting in the hatchet about 8.30. will post reminders nearer the time.

hope everyone is well me and rob are settling into our new house really well still a bit of decorating to do but hopefully we will get there soon! he's nearly finished buuilding me a new kitchen!!

after nearly six months of ups and downs me and the barefoot one have finally moved into the house that we bought together.

The process took a lot longer than was expected and the house had to be fully decorated and new boiler system put in before we could actually move in but we are finally there!! have a lot to thank our families for because without them we would have been totally stuck!

hi guys,
haven't posted here for a while but been so busy with things lately. have some news to tell you ...not all good i'm afraid my grandmother died early hours of tuesday morning she had been ill on and off for about a week and she had a holiday in paignton and as soon as she came home she felt unwell again was admitted to hospital with fluid on her lungs and a severe lack of oxygen plus a few other factors. we thought she would get better so it was quite a shock to hear on monday morning that she paobably only had a few hours left. All the family went to the hospital we went in to see her a few times but she didnt know we were there. i left the hospital at just gone midnight and then got a call from my sister at the hospital at 4.45 that morning to say she had gone.

People have been very kind lots of well wishers. would like to thank my lovely boyfriend mr barefootgoth for coming to the hospital and dishing out some well needed hugs to me and my family.

The family are trying to be strong for my grandad because she was his rock dont think it has quite sunk in for him yet but i think it will at the funeral.

sorry if i have made you all feel sad with my news but there is light at the end of the tunnel.....

me and the barefoot one have been househunting for a while now, we have our mortgage and we have actually found a three bedroomed house. It happens to be in the same street as my parents but that wouldnt be a problem as my folks are really cool anyway. it will just seem a bit weird moving back to the same street that i grew up on!! we have just recieved to forms from the solicitors so we are just waiting on surveys and stuff like that at the mo. We still try not to get too excited because as you well know nothing is set in stone until you actually sign the contracts. but everything is definately looking okay at the mo. The sellers have already moved so there is no chain which is a bonus.
The house is great and a bargain as well. It is in need of a bit of decorationg but nothing too strenuous apart from the garden but thats not a priority to start with.

anyways that is enough from me hope you are all doing okay and hope to see you out and about sometime.

hi all

bout time for an update i think.......

Just got back from a week in cornwall - the weather was complete shite but we still had a good time. Will get some pics developed soon and post them. there should be a good one of me holding a little baby goat it was sooooo adorable.

wandered around tintagel castle and got soaked - the barefoot one just ripped the piss out of me cause apparently i look so cute when i look all soggy and rained on!!

bought lots of nice things including two puppets one of a monkey and one of a cow which have appropriately been named monkey and moo... can you guess which ones which!!

Went to a wicked doctor who display at lands end hopefully the pics have come out alright! anyone who has ever been to lands end will know that they have a sign in which you can gave your pic taken with the place you come from and how far it is, when they first opened the dr who display they took a dalek to it and had its pic done with planet skaro 12000000 miles away so i bought one of those!

Back to work tomorrow but only a four day week but yay ITS MY BIRTHDAY ON SATURDAY!!
thinking of heading out on friday night but dont know if any good nights are happening?? ideas anyone?
having some friends at mine on sat gonna get majorly pissed hopefully!! have to celebrate being 29 as only in my 20's for one more year!

already had one of my pressies - a radio controlled DALEK which again i let the barefoot one name donald... oh dear!! donald the dalek!! i made sure he greated him at the top of my stairs when he came home from work with the words HALT OR YOU WILL BE EXTERMINATED!!he found that highly amusing!!

anyway thats enough from me for now i will no doubt see you all around soon

hi friends....
havent updated on here for a while. I know there are a few of you who think that me and the barefoot one have dissappeared off the face of the earth but i can assure you that is not the case!!
havent been out much recently due to lack of money and the fact that most decent night outs now happen on a saturday and with my other half having to now work sundays on his own wecan never really stay out late.

what have I been up to?.......

nearly had a nasty crash in the barefoot ones mini about a month ago.. it was a nasty rainy night and we were dropping my sis at home and she lives at the bottom of a very nasty steep hill that is horrid to drive down at the best of times especially in the rain as D went to brake half way down we ended up skidding and crashing into a kerb... in a way if that kerb wasnt there it would have been a lot worse. has done a little bit of damage to the mini but hopefully will be fixed in time for newquay in 3 weeks!!

have had a bit of a change in hairstyle now sporting a shorter layered style with red tips!

went to see within temptation on tuesday they were awesome just cant believe that the academy managed to pack in 1600 people!

am enjoying a quiet week off work at the mo not really up to much but have a busy weekend coming up so that will b fun.

up and coming..
out for a meal with d and his family on friday
INSIDIOUS ON SATURDAY!!!!!! PROMISE!!
The barefoot one turns 30 next thursday so having a few friends round my place ang going out for another meal.
off to cornwall for a week soon yay!!

as promised here are the pics of my rocky horror costume!!

was quite proud of the way i did my make up in the end cause i really wasnt sure what i was gonna do till i was actually doing it!!

another funny thing was that my mum actually asked if the red wig was my real hair, particularly since i was getting ready at my parents place and she had actually seen me beforehand!!

it was a great show not the best one i've seen live cause there werent a great deal of people dressed up and we seemed to b sat with all the boring people but still a laugh none the less!!

hi guys

havent posted for a while so heres a quick update....

Everythig smashing on the work front. We are all getting pay rises this week, so it will be interesting to see how much of a difference that makes.

the weekend was pretty cool. Chilled out with the barefoot one on friday, then on saturday we went to the hatchet for the 400th bday celebrations. Saw a few familiar faces which was nice.
Sunday, saw the barefoot one off to work and chilled out for the day.

Today went to work as usual. On the nightime i helped my little sis to move yes! she's finally flown the nest!!!
i think at 24 she felt it was the right time. I knew it was right for me at 21 and people thought i wouldnt last 5 mins, but seven years later i am still proving them wrong!!!

I made an important decision today and that is to become vegetarian.
The thing is i very rarely eat meat anyway and always prfer the quorn substitutes anyway.
i dont really enjoy eating meat anymore and dont think i will really miss it and i think its healthier in the long run.

Have a short week in work as we are going up to edinburgh on thursday for batswing's wedding. We are also gonna stay
an extra day as i have never been to scotland and its somewhere i have always wanted to visit.

anyway thats all for now

the weekend

Hi guys monday here yet again.....

Weekend was pretty cool so heres a quick update....

Friday - went to the good old bierkeller on friday night was a great night out did lots of silly dancing with my sister - have recently started doing box-er-cise classes on thursday night so we were demonstrating this to mansons "fight song" for which we got quite a few funny looks.

Saturday - The barefoot one had to get up to go to work :( ahhhhhh so had most of the day to myself - to b honest spent most of it sleeping as the heat has been making it impossible for me to sleep during the week.

Sunday - went to see simple minds at the ashton court festival on the evening - we got right to the front of the stage which was awesome. They played an amazing gig. didnt get in till about half 12 this morning though and then had to b up for work again at 20 past 5 so as you can imagine i'm feeling pretty knackered.

hi all....

Feels like a long time since i updated so thought i'd better have!!

Nothing much has changed on the work front   still very happy since i have changed my working environment and have been a lot more chilled out and relaxed.

Been quite hectic on the weekends lately me and the barefoot one have been going to loads of peoples parties and nights out hard to remember them all but much fun was had.

Last weekend was quite memorable Saturday day went to the garden in temple church for eve_of_hades birthday which was very nice and then went to the full moon on the night to see cauda play.
They played a really amazing gig just a shame that it will be the last at the full moon   sob!!.
on the sunday we went to see the Da vinci code which i thought was awesome even if a lot of others dont!!

This weekend was another good one.

Saturday night a my family went out for a meal for my grandads 80th birthday which was great. unfortunately D couldnt make it due to a works function that was happening on the same night.

Yesterday we went to jack and amandas goth picnic at clifton which was nice. Amanda was quite chuffed to find out that it had been mentioned in kerrang magazine in the "what to do" listings!!

Well thats about it from me for now   hope you are all well

hi everyone

havent updated for a while due to being extremely busy over the last few weeks so here goes!!!

Easter weekend me and the barefoot one went to slough to visit some friends who live there. they looked after us very well and it was funny watching D get sozzled!!

As i did post on here before mr barefootgoth celebrated his birthday on the 19th and we got taken out for a lovely chinese meal by his mum which was nice.

That following weekend we went to visit some of his family up north because it was his cousins 30th birthday and they had a big all day bbq going on which was great fun!

and finally this last week we have been to cornwall on holiday - we went down on the saturday on the rivera run which is an event for minis where they cruise from redding to newquay. We did meet up with his mini club on a couple of occasions but for the majority of the week it was just the two of us.
We had a great time did lots of daytrips including tintagel castle, lands end and the eden project. We have booked to go again next year as well!!

Again i had great fun watching the barefoot one get pissed. for some reason when he got drunk he thought he was a handyman and starting doing minor repairs he thought needed doing around the caravan which was very amusing.
We did decide on one night when we had run out of booze to check out the on site nightclub - a mistake we wont be making again!!!

Got back late saturday afternoon and chilled out for the rest of the day .
Last night went to a gig at the keller which was great.

So as you can imagine we are both knackered and are looking forward to doing sod all this weekend.
   luckilly i have today off but D had to go back to work:(

HI all

seems bloody ages since i last updated   so heres a quick recap.....

Things are going brilliantly on the work front. I have recently transfered to a different shop and it is a lot less stress and hassle which makes me happier in the long run.   Have got this friday and monday off in which i am spending it all with mr barefootgoth which is something to look forward to.

We have a really busy time coming up in April/may so we are both planning on chilling out over the next few days as we both need to save money, plus we are skint anyway!!
Things are going really well between us - and as he mentioned in his entry even the cat has finally accepted him!! she spends too long paying him attention i dont get a look in!!!   :(

Had a real good weekend last week - went to the hatchet on saturday night for a friends birthday - the theme was cowboys and indians. I did not know about this until thursday so didnt really have a lot of time to sort a costume out.
Although i did manage to get hold of a nice indian feather headband, which along with one of my gothic outfits i think i got away with!!

Sunday - went to weston with barefootgoth and his mini club. It was really funny seeing six minis driving one behind the other ,
we thought it was only right that we had the theme tune to th italian job playing in the car!!!
Went for a nice walk along the beach and me and a few others went on the dodgems on the pier proving to everyone why its safer that i dont drive!!
