went to the launch of the new cauda pavonis album last night. 
Gotta say guys really loved the new stuff you sounded great and your new bassist was awesome  thoroughly enjoyed it xx

after nearly six months of ups and downs me and the barefoot one have finally moved into the house that we bought together.

The process took a lot longer than was expected and the house had to be fully decorated and new boiler system put in before we could actually move in but we are finally there!! have a lot to thank our families for because without them we would have been totally stuck!

 haven't posted here for a while but been so busy with things lately.  have some news to tell you ...not all good i'm afraid my grandmother died early hours of tuesday morning she had been ill on and off for about a week and she had a holiday in paignton and as soon as she came home she felt unwell again was admitted to hospital with fluid on her lungs and a severe lack of oxygen plus a few other factors. we thought she would get better so it was quite a shock to hear on monday morning that she paobably only had a few hours left. All the family went to the hospital we went in to see her a few times but she didnt know we were there. i left the hospital at just gone midnight and then got a call from my sister at the hospital at 4.45 that morning to say she had gone.  

People have been very kind lots of well wishers. would like to thank my lovely boyfriend mr barefootgoth for coming to the hospital and dishing out some well needed hugs to me and my family.

The family are trying to be strong for my grandad because she was his rock dont think it has quite sunk in for him yet but i think it will at the funeral.

sorry if i have made you all feel sad with my news but there is light at the end of the tunnel.....

me and the barefoot one have been househunting for a while now, we have our mortgage and we have actually found a three bedroomed house. It happens to be in the same street as my parents but that wouldnt be a problem as my folks are really cool anyway. it will just seem a bit weird moving back to the same street that i grew up on!! we have just recieved to forms from the solicitors so we are just waiting on surveys and stuff like that at the mo.  We still try not to get too excited because as you well know nothing is set in stone until you actually sign the contracts. but everything is definately looking okay at the mo. The sellers have already moved so there is no chain which is a bonus.
The house is great and a bargain as well. It is in need of a bit of decorationg but nothing too strenuous apart from the garden but thats not a priority to start with.

anyways that is enough from me hope you are all doing okay  and hope to see you out and about sometime.

bout time for an update i think.......

Just got back from a week in cornwall - the weather was complete shite but we still had a good time. Will get some pics developed soon and post them. there should be a good one of me holding a little baby goat it was sooooo adorable.

wandered around tintagel castle and got soaked - the barefoot one just ripped the piss out of me cause apparently i look so cute when i look all soggy and rained on!!

bought lots of nice things including two puppets one of a monkey and one of a cow which have appropriately been named monkey and moo... can you guess which ones which!!

Went to a wicked doctor who display at lands end hopefully the pics have come out alright!  anyone who has ever been to lands end will know that they have a sign in which you can gave your pic taken with the place you come from and how far it is, when they first opened the dr who display they took a dalek to it and had its pic done with planet skaro 12000000 miles away  so i bought one of those!

Back to work tomorrow but only a four day week  but yay ITS MY BIRTHDAY ON SATURDAY!!
thinking of heading out on friday night but dont know if any good nights are happening?? ideas anyone?
having some friends at mine on sat gonna get majorly pissed hopefully!!  have to celebrate being 29 as only in my 20's for one more year!

already had one of my pressies - a radio controlled DALEK which again i let the barefoot one name donald... oh dear!! donald the dalek!!  i made sure he greated him at the top of my stairs when he came home from work with the words HALT OR YOU WILL BE EXTERMINATED!!he found that highly amusing!!

anyway thats enough from me for now i will no doubt see you all around soon
